Jaybird x4 won't turn on and doesn't show it's charging
Not impressed with Jaybird performance as a new user. Would not buy the brand again.
Bought my x4's in November 19'.
Anyway. Nothing has happened to the unit. It has not been dropped, the unit has not gotten wet. Nothing. Was using it the other day, I turned it on, had 80% battery life. 10 minutes later, sound simply cut out. Checked the Mp3 player and it was still running. Tried turning off the unit, no response at all, no indicator light, nothing. Went home, set it charging. Red light came on. Left it over night, red light still on. Tested them out, no response at all. Tried another charging source (a laptop, the original charging source had always been my USB charging tower. Never a problem.) Anyway, left them with the laptop for six hours. Laptop was on the entire time. Red indicator light was on the entire time it was charging, never changed to green. Tested after the second charge, zero response. Now I have a dead unit. These were not cheap earbuds. Again, I am not impressed and will not be purchasing Jaybird products in the future.
