I need help pairing my Freedom Sprint earbuds with Apple watch

I turn on the bluetooth on the watch, turn earbuds into "discover" mode and they then show  up on the watch screen but when I choose them on the watch they try to pair for about 30 seconds and then I get a screen that says "Make sure Freedom Sprint is turned on, in range, and ready to pair". They are on, in range and ready to pair. Can someone help me?

  I ran into the same issue when trying to pair my freedom Spring earbuds with my Nike Apple Watch.   I was finally able to pair the headset by putting my apple watch in airplane mode and then pairing the device. I also recommend turning off  your iPhone Bluetooth prior to pairing you watch.   You may need to follow this procedure again in the future if your headphones are not able to pair. it's a pain but it works.
