Freedom Spirt suddenly stopped working

Ive had my Freedom Spirt earbuds for about two years now and yesterday they shut off suddenly with no beep warning as they typically make when the battery is low.  I didn't think much of it so I just charged them overnight and when I went to use them today they again didn't work.  After reading some other questions that seemed similar I changed power source for charging earlier today and once again nothing.  The red light does go on when plugged in but the cable must be wiggled a little.  after a couple hours i first tried to play music while it was plugged in and it did intact work but as soon as it was unplugged...nothing.  Im sure it is beyond any warrantee but hoping there was something that could be done before I look into purchasing another set of earbuds.  Thanks in advance.

  @Benjamin Parker-Swain Do you think if another cable was sent out that would correct the issue? If you have to wiggle the cord maybe there isn't any power reaching the headset.
