Eargel tips too big with Vista
Just got the Vista, after trying a number of sports earbuds. Love them so far, with one big exception: the eartips (the part that goes into the ear canal) are too big, even when using the smallest eargels. In fact it seems to me that all 3 eargel sizes have the same eartip size, only the wing size is different. Uninspired design decision to make the whole eargel single budy. Other earbuds (including the older Run XT from Jaybird) give the option to mix ear wings and ear tips sizes. Unfortunately, not the Vista.
This makes them uncomfortable to wear, and also creates some kind of annoying "booming" effect.
I know there were more people on the forum with similar complaints, did someone found a solution or a hack to solve this? I would be tempted to cut a bit the "skirt" around the eartip, to make it shorter - but no guarantee it would work, and I would definitely not be able to return them anymore after that.
I wanted to try a small eartip I had from an older headpone, just to test the comfort, but it doesn't fit over the Vista's speaker tube, its diameter is larger than typical on headphones.
Any advice?
