Jaybird Vista stuck buzzing earbud

    Steve -

I've had this happen countless times with X4 and Tara Pros - the only solution was to re-attach them to the magnetic charger while it was connected to power - which is really bad when this happens during an actual run and you are without the charger.  Then after a moment, I would remove them and the buzzing would disappear, allowing me to re-connect them.

I'm not sure why Jaybird products do this so much.  I, like you, have recently purchased the Vistas as well just 1 week ago.  I was hoping to never experience this issue (and I have yet to with Vistas) considering them to be the 'premier' product line Jaybird has to offer at the moment - however it is disheartening to know that this anomaly continues the plague them.

While doing my research as to an earbud to buy, I had considered purchasing the Mifo 07, but despite the buzzing, the disconnects, and other things, I ultimately decided Jaybird because they are a U.S. company and have high appreciation for their customer support.  I would really like to see if Jaybird would publicly comment as to if they are aware of the buzzing problem and if they deem it to be a firmware or hardware issue.

    Cheers!

No luck so far. I’ve plugged the case back in but still buzzing away.

I’ve contacted ‘support’ and will update once I hear back.

    Eventually the battery will die.

When you open the jaybird app on your phone, does it see them?  If so, can check to see if the "Auto Off" settings are set to "Don't Turn Off"?

Also, I wonder if yours are requiring a firmware upgrade as mine were needing after taking them out of the box.

Thanks John. I left them to drain last night and it seems to have stopped today. I reconnected and all seems ok so far again. Touch wood it doesn’t reoccur!
