Jaybird Run microphone doesn't work with Google Assistant
Hi all. I've found on my Jaybird Run headphones that pressing the left earbud button indeed activates Google Assistant on my phone. And it works great if I speak into the phone's microphone. However, if speaking into the headphone's microphone, it doesn't work.
This means I can't use Google Assistant with hands-free operation, and instead have to pull my phone out of my pocket to speak into the microphone. This is super annoying and severely cripples Google Assistant.
My phone is the Google Pixel 3a XL and is running Android 10.
Does anybody else have this behavior/issue, and know of a solution?
Thank you! -Erik

In case this helps anybody else, I have figured this out for Android 10. I was originally using STEP#1, but you must actually use STEP#2 (which in turn invokes STEP#1). Google has made this super confusing and unorganized IMHO!
STEP#1
Settings -> Google -> Account services -> Search, Assistant & Voice -> Google Assistant -> Assistant -> Phone -> Hey GoogleSTEP#2
Settings -> Google -> Account services -> Search, Assistant & Voice -> Voice -> Voice Match -> Hey Google
Settings -> Google -> Account services -> Search, Assistant & Voice -> Voice -> Voice Match -> Allow Bluetooth requests with device locked
