    Hi William,

    Thank you for reaching out. I'll be happy to help you with this one.

    Sorry for any confusion. As far as I know, you won't be able to update the firmware if one bud is missing.

    You can try either of the following:

    -Replace the missing bud, you can order here:

    *Please make sure to check which side you lost versus which side bud you're ordering prior to checking out.

    -You can also uninstall the Jaybird App and install it as new. I am unable to replicate this right now so please let me know how it goes.
