    Sorry for any confusion. May I ask why you're resetting the buds in the first place?

    Also, I'd like to ask if you left the case open or closed it before holding the button down.

    Hi Bruce,

    I'm resetting the buds as my right earbud suddenly became unresponsive when I wanted to use my earbuds and took them out of the charging case. 

    I followed the official factory reset steps as followed 

    1. Place both earbuds into the charging case and close the lid.

    2. Open the charging case. Press and hold the case button until the case LED starts blinking white

    As such, I closed it before holding the button down.
