    Hi Putsy,

    Thank you for reaching out and for posting here in the Support Community.

    The Jaybird Firmware Update Assistant allows you to update your Jaybird Freedom buds to the latest firmware. The current version 1.4.0 of the Jaybird Freedom firmware offers general bug fixes.

    This requires either a Windows or Mac computer, as well as a data compatible USB cable. The USB charging cable that came with your Jaybird Freedom will work. Please note however, that the update is not required.

    So there is NO way to do this on an IPad.  So I just can never get an update and basically if my headphones don’t work I am no longer able to use them?  Is this what you are telling me?

    So I just got an email from you saying my case has been resolved when in fact it has not been.   I would be happy to fill out the survey but I am afraid I would not give you’re company very good reviews, therefore, I will not do it. 

    I am highly unsatisfied how this has been handled.  It takes a few days to even hear back from you, in the meantime I am without headphones. 

    I will not recommend your company to anyone at this point!

    Bruce, when I initially contacted the company I told them the issue I was having which is that the volume will not stay down. I turn it down to a level that is good and then it shoots up to the highest level. Also, when the songs change it goes to the high level again. 

    They informed me that I would probably need an update, however, the issue with that is I only have an IPad that I would be able to do this with.  So is there another way I can get this update?

    Looking forward to hearing from you to be able to fix this issue.
