This is more of a troubleshooting guide/runbook than a question, but I hope it helps other Jaybird Vista users.
Phone: iPhone X
New Vistas (when charged and in pairing mode) would not show as an available device to pair with on my phone, computer or tablet.
When attempting to pair, continue to press and hold the Vista case button EVEN AFTER the LED begins blinking. "Jaybird Vista" then showed as an available Bluetooth device to pair with on my phone, computer and tablet.
- Purchased new from Amazon
- Case was not charged, so had to charge to full power before even attempting to pair (the documentation was therefore a little misleading in that it assumes the case is charged and therefore can pair "out of the box")
- Had I not discovered this thread (from 2016...), I would have returned the Jaybird Vistas as defective and purchased another brand: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7685998
