This is the second time I am reporting a flaw in the design of my Jaybird Tarah Pro headphones and Jaybird has yet to even acknowledge my report. Very disappointing.
I have owned a pair of Tarah Pros for some time with no excessive exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals or water. I love using these headphones while exercising and talking on the phone. The sound quality has only ever been superb in my experience. The ease and comfort in combination with the stability and fit make these headphones perfect for my lifestyle. Overall I love these headphones and would love to continue to use them.
The only problem is the rubber began to bubble and has now peeled off of the control buttons, making it difficult to control music and makes turning the device on and off more cumbersome.
I am worried about the damage the headphones may receive from such exposure in the future.
Considering the price of the headphones I expected higher quality and wish to avoid having to replace them. It took extensive research and time to find the perfect model of bluetooth headphones, I had thought I had found the perfect model in the Tarah Pro. I hope this one flaw int he product does not force me to look elsewhere.
I am hoping to speak with someone who will help me find a solution to this problem caused by poor quality manufacturing.
