    you'll need two video devices (e.g. phones or tablets) - the Jaybird App shows you the charge of the currently connected headphones and it increments every minute or two. You can video the screen of the phone you are playing music on with app showing the headphones charge. It will make riveting viewing for the folks at Jaybird I'm sure. You can watch the charge drain right out. My Tarah Pro just went from 100% to auto off "Battery low, please charge" in less than 30 minutes. I made a video of part of that time.

    That's after it took a few hours to cajole them up to 100%. My current pair tend to stop charging before they reach 100% and drain quickly thereafter even when left in the charging cradle) It's my third set of malfunctioning headphones from Jaybird. I got this last pair at the start of Feb but they didn't make it to the end of the same month. I've just sent a note back to the support people about these ones. They are very good about replacing them but like you I have spent half my time since paying for $100+ headphones without $100+ headphones. I presume the mark up is such that they can afford to replace them a bunch of times but like you, the rate at which the replacements fail is kinda draining my will to pursue replacements and just giving up on Jaybird as a terrible brand. Anyway, if you poke around these forums, its clear we are not alone in the experience. It just feels like such a promising product for my running and cycling, there is genuinely nothing with the same level of thought in the changeable direction of the ear bud and long battery life but it seems Jaybird is not really able to uphold its built for sport quality claims.
