Jaybird cannot power on without getting plugged in

    Thank you for updating this post.

    Are you charging the buds as well as the charging clip at the same time? Please note that the charging clip acts like a spare battery for the buds---the buds will work even if its battery is depleted as long as the charging clip is charged and clipped onto the buds.

    Thanks Bruce,

     

    In my case I believe my freedom model is older and it is only charged by plugging it to the power with the cable. The week before they worked completely fine and I normally leave the battery to completely run out before I charge them. This time when I tried to turn them on, they didn't start as if they were out of battery, then I plug them and I just saw a red light that just turn off when I plugged them and then nothing more. As the person that created the discussion said, when I turn them on while plugged for charging, they start working normally. Could it be the battery has died?
