    I have the same problem! However, I have already contacted customer service on multiple occasions. While they are great and have sent me a new pair every time it happens, I can't get it to stop peeling! I have been ridiculously careful with this third set, but it's still peeling in two places now. I don't want to take them to the gym anymore, in case I get sweat or dirt into the control piece. Is anything being done to work on a better glue for the control rubber??

    I have the same problem. The earbuds also turn off randomly and the power buttons stop working. There’s a buzzing noise every so often with no response from the controls. I need to place them in the charging cradle to reset. Arrrgggg.
    Very disappointed.
