After skipping songs on Spotify (and I presume other different apps), The earbuds will stop playing music, while the phone application would seemingly continue playing them. While the earbuds are in this state, it is not possible to soft reset or hard reset them, as well as unpair or restart my phone. The only solution that seems to work is putting them back in their case and taking them out again. To reiterate, soft or hard reset does not work either, neither does anything else I tried. I use the Jaybird app and have updated them to the latest firmware.
This is incredibly frustrating and I wouldn't recommend anyone using earbuds that continuously turn off.
In order to reproduce this bug:
My phone is a Huawei P-Smart, with spotify.
1. Connect the earbuds
2. play a song on spotify
3. press the skip button a few times, I believe pressing it quickly in succession is the most guaranteed way to reproduce this bug.
My thoughts are that there is some sort of bluetooth synchronization problem that occurs when the phone tries to communicate with the earbuds (Maybe the earbuds are processing the current chunk of data while the phone sends the skip notice, resulting in the earbuds waiting for the next chunk of the previous song while the phone starts sending frames of the new song, making the earbuds frozen waiting for a packet that won't be received?)
