Jaybird Run freezes when using spotify

    I am curious to know if this happens when you skip the song using the buds' buttons or previous/next on your phone/Spotify App. Also, I'd like to know if this happens on just your phone or if you've encountered this kind of problem on a different device or a device with a different OS.

    I am having a similar behaviour as soon as they connect to my phone. My phone shows they are connected, but audio will only play through my phone speakers and I am unable to turn off the Jaybird Runs unless I put them in the charging case.

    My phone is a Google Pixel 3.

    Hello Bruce, it happens when I use the Earbuds buttons as well as the phones. I've looked up this bug and it seems other people with other devices encounter the same problem. I can try to get back on you whether the bug easily reproduces on OS.

    i have a similar issue atm.  My earbuds stop working and i cannot re-pair them.  So far its been when using spotify.  In my instance its when the song changes, it still says connected to the phone but it doesnt play.  The left earbud can be turned on and off but the right ear bud is like a brick..does nothing.

    I have the same issue. Only started after I switched to a Samsung Galaxy S20+. The problem happens for me as such. While listening to Spotify and having a timer running, when the timer ends and plays the notification sound the Jabird Run does not return to playing Spotify. The phone shows them paired and the music playing, but no sound from the earbuds or phone. The only way to recover them is to place them back in the charging case momentarily.
