I have had my Vistas for a couple of weeks now and originally thought they were defective but have since worked out there is a limitation in the feature set.
The problem I thought I had was that when I had my Vistas connected to my Phone (Pixel OG, Android 10) and the phone rang, the phone ring was not passed through to the headphones, although anything I was playing stopped and then the Bluetooth connection dropped out.
I have since discovered that I had my phone on silent (which it always is) and if I took my phone off silent and raised the volume of the ringtone on the phone, the ringtone was now being passed through the headphones.
Although raising the ring volume on my phone before using the Vistas is fine as a workaround, it isn't ideal and is a bit counter-intuitive. One would think that a user that has their phone on silent is doing so because they are in an environment in which a ringtone would be disruptive. However that same user using headphones in that environment effectively eliminates the possibility of a ringtone disrupting that environment.
My point here is that ringtones should be passed through to the headphones regardless of the phone's ringtone volume settings. Please pass this feature request through to your development team.
