X2 can only be switched on with charging cable plugged
Hi,
I have bought a new X2 and tried these few days. However, I cannot get it work.
First of all, it cannot be switched on by the middle button.
Although the official manual says that the battery should not be completely empty in stock which make the earphones to be no response, I re-tried by charging it first. I even filmed a video for that (link below).
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QbO24EkaPmA
Time lapse in the video:
0:07: Charging cable plugged into power source (No response from the LED)
2:23: LED finally lights red
2.43: LED turns to green
Although I do not understand why it takes more that two minutes for the LED to light up after plugged for charging (Actually my current old X2 lights up its LED in red right after it is plugged, using the same charging cable in the video), as the LED turns to green, I assume the battery is charged.
So I unplugged it from the power source and try to switch it on by holding the middle button again. But still there is no response, no LED light up and no "Power on" voice from the earphone.
I have tried everything I can find suggested in this forum, including the 8x reset and different cable and power outlet. Still not working. I have also read the instruction note which is copied and pasted by the moderator robotistically around different threads (i.e., I am sorry to hear that...) and follow but still not working.
It is pathetic that it is a brand new item. I found this new X2 can be switched on only when it is connected with the plugged charging cable. It means it only works with connection to a power source, so a wireless earphone works only with wired to power.
Can anyone tell me what should I do to this new X2? Should I throw it away like crap?
My current old X2 seems working fine and that is why I buy this new X2, but never thought it fails so seriously.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
