Mine have done exactly the same thing. Mine are less than 6 months old.

Have started a warranty claim for a replacement pair.

    Good luck.

I have the same on my third pair. all of which have had this result..

1st.. returned to store.. had to buy best buy warranty..  (within 2 weeks)

2nd.. returned to store.. used warranty..   they insisted that the warranty was only for that particular device and i would need to buy another to cover my current pair..

3rd..  I believe there is an issue with the overcharge protection circuit. leaving the headphones on the charging cradle (my habit when not in use) overheats the system.. somehow causing an imbalance of the adhesive.

i currently have a flapping bit of rubber periodically held in place with a small rubber band.

I would like to find a resolution.. replacement.. or service.. ultimately i would like the overcharge circuit to cease charging before there is a mechanical failure.

has there been progress for anyone in contacting the company?
