I am runner that builds up a lot of sweat rather quickly during tempo runs. Sometimes during my runs I feel sweat in my ear canal and shortly after my right earbud stops working or the volume is at 10% then stops working. Letting the earbuds dry overnight outside the case restores the earbud to working order.
The last time this happened I removed the ear gel from both earbuds and the one that stopped working was completely soaked under the ear gel. Does anyone know how the moisture is getting under the ear gel? I tried putting tape under the ear gel near the charger cut out but sweat kept getting under the ear gel and on the bud causing them to fail during the workout. Anyone have tips for this? I use a size 2 ear gel because the size 3 hurt the top of my ear and size 1 are not secure during running.
