Google FIT
Jaybird RUN XT does not work well with Audible + Google FIT (Distance reporting only works for the 1st KM) Bluetooth Connectivity always drop and earbuds switches off itself. Soft and hard reset down not solve the problem. Firmware patching on earbuds does not work on both macOS Mojave and Windows 10. So much for a "RUN" earbuds
Website full of broken links! $300 of frustrations!

Hello Nickolas,
Thank you for reaching out. I'll be happy to help you with this one.
You can find the Firmware update for Jaybird Run XT through the Jaybird App and not the website.
The audio on your apps will depend on how they're designed and how they work. Some apps can play sound/work while in the background while others cannot.
Feel free to reach back to us by replying to this post or contacting our other support channels at https://www.jaybirdsport.com/en-us/support.html

Hi Bruce,
I'm not sure i'm following you. There seems to be some contradictions.
"You can find the Firmware update for Jaybird Run XT through the Jaybird App and not the website."
It clears states that the firmware software update should be download via the web on your PC.

Followed the instructions on both macOS mojave and Windows 10 laptops, the firmware software just hangs there!
"The audio on your apps will depend on how they're designed and how they work. Some apps can play sound/work while in the background while others cannot." I was using a $40 wireless earphone with the same APP (Audible + Google FIT) and it works perfectly fine. Apparently Jaybird Run XT cannot pause/interrupted Audible properly. The interim solution is to change the "audio interruptions" setting on Audible from "pause and then resume playback" to "lower playback volume". *Note that this settings is no longer available since Audible recent updates.
