Jaybird Run XT not charging battery

    Thank you for reaching out. I'll be happy to help you with this one.

    You mentioned that just the right bud works for phone call. This is correct. By default, you can accept and end phone calls using your right Jaybird RUN multifunction button. 

    To accept an incoming call, single press on your right earbud. The call audio is limited to the right earbud. When you accept a phone call, the left earbud will allow ambient sound in to assist  with better hearing your own voice. This avoids the need to take the left earbud out during phone calls.

    For the connection issue, please follow these recommendations:


    For the battery, kindly try using a different power source/charger and/or a different USB cable. A pulsing green LED on each side means it is charging, solid green light when fully charged. It is recommended to use 5V/500mA-1A charger for 2 hours only.

    It would also help to ensure that the lid of the charging case is securely closed and the charger ports and prongs align accordingly and are free from debris.

    Thanks very much for your reply.

    All recommended steps listed into factory manual were followed to charge my jaybird.
    Regarding the left bug battery charging, I need your support since this equipment is in warranty and needs reparation or its replacement.

    The device was purrchased in APril 26th, 2019 and I need the warranty coverage.
