    I was just about to buy them back but won't be now. I was in the same boat as you but it seems as though nothing can be done, I contacted support but they just told me to send them back. It is a shame because they're the best earphones I have purchased but have this terrible issue

    I have the same issue. The left earbud’s controls work, but sometimes the volume on it is particularly low regardless of my settings / there’s no sound coming out from it when it’s switched on. My right ear bud works fine. This is slightly annoying, is there something that can be done to fix this? I’m not living in the US so it might be a bit difficult to send them to the US. Thanks.

    Ah, I thought it was just me! Jaybird FIX this issue! Telling all of your customers to just send them back isn't acceptable. I seriously thought it was an isolated issue.

    I swapped for another pair at best buy. I plan on not using the app for a long time to avoid updating them. Hopefully they figure it out because I like the custom eq profiles...

    Started also having the same problem with the right bud a couple of days ago. Has anyone had the same problem with the right earbud?

    I’m also having this issue. I would appreciate if support could contact me with a working solution or a suggestion for next steps. I’m a big fan of these and a promoter for now but am hoping this isn’t a permanent problem.

    Add me to this list, same problem with left earbud volume very quiet yet controls work and charges/holds charge as you'd expect. A real shame as they are brilliant otherwise.

    Hey guys! I was having the same issue. I suspected it was due to moisture or something inside the left earbud, so this morning I used a Q-tip to clean it. I just pushed it through the hole and swabbed around the best I could. Afterward, the earbud was back to full volume. Not sure whether this will work for everyone, but for now it is working for me.

    First thing I tried Todd. Sadly not such a simple issue for me. I have had to switch my phone to mono and offset the audio with a left bias to compensate. It's been problematic for a couple of months during which time I seem to notice the volume progressively fades from not too bad to almost silent on the left with use despite over 50% charge remaining in both earbuds.

    I'm also having this problem. Seems to kick in every time at 100 minutes.. almost to the second.. which makes me think its a software issue. For me it's happening on the right earbud. It goes very quiet. It's there, but very hard to hear, even at full volume. If i leave it play for another 100 minutes (or so... dont have an exact measurement yet) the earbud seems to come back to full volume. It's also fine it I put it in the charger for a while - however the battery is usually 65% when I put it in th charger to recharge, so we're not talking about a charge issue here. Would love to know if anyone else has noticed the 100 minutes too?

    Just to close the loop...

     

    I sent them back and it doesn't seem like they pinpointed an issue.  They sent me a new pair that doesn't have this problem.   I am having other problems (right bud goes on mute, but comes back if i put in case and take back out, phasing/panning between earbuds when using with my macbook), but my original problem is gone.
