X4 appears charged, but is unresponsive

    Thank you for reaching out. I'll be happy to help you with this one.

    You can also follow these recommendations:

    - Try a different power source/charger
    - Computers are the best and safest method, as is anything 1 AMP or less.
    - Car chargers produce a much greater power supply and should be avoided.
    - Over-charging the battery will quickly reduce the life of the headphones, so in addition to monitoring the power supply, limit the charge time to 2 hours,
    - To get the most out of your battery it is recommended to charge the buds when the low battery status is indicated.
    - Avoid charging your headphones after exposure to sweat.
    - Make sure charging port/cradle is clear of any debris.

    Hi Bruce and Gabi,

    I am responding on this thread as there is another thread on the go with the same issue.


    With the number of complaints being received about the same issue, there is a recurring defect your company should be addressing. With the lack of response on the other threads, customers are feeling ghosted.

    We have been officially ghosted by Jaybird. I am incredibly disappointed as many of us replied to posts only to receive no response. What responses we did receive, we followed direction (I posted here in response to support's post) and then no response to our efforts.The X4 support group (not just this thread) is filled with similar issues with headphones not turning on suggestive of a systemic fault in the product.

    Faulty products happen and are sometimes beyond the control of the company; however, poor customer service is well within a company's control. Its unbelievable that Jaybird is silent despite so many complaints about the same issue. 

    I gave you a chance Jaybird and you ignored me. Jaybird's faulty products and poor customer service will no longer be purchased by myself or my network.
