    Hi, i have just the same problem but fortunate the wire has not completely yet broken of. Tough i would like to fix this befor the headphones breaks just as bad as mentioned above.  //Sebastian

    I have the same problem. I'm using my jaybird x4 for a year now and thr left ear not working due to loosed connection of wire at the volume control.

    I hope this can still be fix.
