Same thing here.  Have asked Jaybird and waiting for their feedback.  Looks like they sell a single earbud and perhaps it is for those occasions when they are out of warranty.  In your case, you should get it repaired under warranty.

Same thing with me.  Rt earbud died.

Probably the bad earbud doesn’t connect well to the case. Twitch it a bit till the case-light goes on. It will the charge as it should. Also you should be able to do a hard reset.

Had the same problem with a left earbud that didn’t fit well in the case anymore. I’m returning mine first thing in the morning.

Hard reset doesn't work.  Holds a charge, and was able to measure DC voltage in it from the charging leads.  The bud is just dead.  Likely a bad circuit build.  I talked to customer support and they said they would email me a form to arrange replacement of the dead bud....but the email never arrived.  I sent them an email on their after hours site.  Their chat is always closed, so I hope that they respond to the email that I sent on their site.  Otherwise, I will try to talk to them again via phone.....sigh......this is why I build my company products in the USA.  My production cost in China was 80% cheaper, but I just ended up paying it out anyways in customer support due to bad builds that are too common in China.  American production was a way better experience for me and my clients.  The production costs ended up being the same in the end.

Same with John, except my left earbud just dropped into a rocky crack (while it stays in running on flat surfaces, it does drop out on my first rocky run).  Ever since that I have tried all the tricks of soft, hard and factory reset, and while the white light blinks, the Bluetooth on the right earbud can no longer be found. The problem is that I've been told the single earbud pairing does work as per customer support, and as per all of Jaybird's promotions, however, the reality is different....

I left a question in the Australian support and was told to call a US number...... Not sure how that works to be honest....

I've had these headphones for three weeks, but suddenly the left earbud became extremely faint compared to the right one and can barely hear anything from the left earbud. There's now a sound imbalance between the two earbuds.

I've done a factory reset but this hasn't helped. I've dropped the UK support team a note in the form, has anyone else experienced this?

I talked to the USA support team about my issue.  They verified that I did the troubleshooting, and they elected to send me a whole new set of Vistas by mail, and they will email me a return label to send the defective ones back.  Customer support was very responsive and quick.  I have no issues with the support, which I think was excellent.

Hopefully I will get the new ones in the next week or so.

@vivian I had the same problem. Was caused by sweat. After some time (> 1 to 2 hours) the sweat dried and the problem solved itself. Hope yours is the same.

@Paul Berghege, being IPX7 rated means the earbud should not be affected by sweat at all - even IPX4 should be sweat proof.  Vista's questions page even claimed you can swim in your Vista.

Better to have your earbuds exchanged while in warranty.
