I'm having the same issue basically on a brand new pair headphones. How can I get a replacement, leaving on vacation in two days...

I have the same problem. I'm on my first replacement and it started peeling just a while ago. I know what you mean, when the cover peels off, it seems larger than the space it used to be in. Not sure if the rubber is expanding or that they used some amount of force to squish it down to size during the gluing process.

I am certain it is the [silicon] material that's somehow, maybe with the normal finger-pushing (particularly if you leave the default power-saving settings that force you to power-up multiple times the headphones), getting flattened more an more over time without the ability to return to its previous shape.
This is maybe predictable of silicon over long periods of use, only Tarah Pro's material deteriorates too fast compared to the headphones buttons themselves! Too bad!
The other Jaybirds products have full-plastic modules and don't have this problem.

My second pair just started doing this (I already contacted support). It's lifting in two different places. I agree that this is probably a design flaw. The cover needs to be redesigned with a more resilient material.
