Hi, I am down to my third replacement and I cannot see how this cycle can continue like this! Please tell us you will have permanent solution, like a full plastic buttons module like the other Jaybirds??? I received my 3rd replacent barely more than a month ago and the cover started peeling. I use the headphones very sporadically (2 hours per day!), and now I try to be careful not to press hard on the buttons just hoping this prolongs their life but to no avail!!! Rinder from my previous communication: You see the issue is not one of adherence, the rubber material seems to flatten and harden even with minimal use, such that its dimensions become inadequate (longer and wider than its space on the control module). Losing its elasticity means it will never go back to the original dimensions. So it comes off and you can't even glue it back. It will keep on happening unless it is replaced with different material. For instance a plastic cover instead would do the job!!! Too bad such great headphones, that are still great, become unusable because of a silly design flaw of the controls cover!
