    Hi Paul,

    Thank you for reaching out. This definitely shouldn't be happening, let me help you.

    Please try these suggestions that can help to resolve the issue of your headset:

    - Try a different power source/charger
    - Computers are the best and safest method, as is anything 1 AMP or less.
    - Car chargers produce a much greater power supply and should be avoided.
    - Over-charging the battery will quickly reduce the life of the headphones, so in addition to monitoring the power supply, limit the charge time to 2.5 hours,
    - To get the most out of your battery it is recommended to charge the buds when the low battery status is indicated.
    - Avoid charging your headphones after exposure to sweat.
    - Make sure charging port/cradle is clear of any debris.

    I'm having the same problem with my x3. I turn it off, when i turn it back on a couple of hours later i will be absent charge. Seems that it keeps using charge when powered off. I wonder if there's an electrical short in the system and if that's the case it might lead to injuries. And please Bruce, stop copying and pasting that reply, you sound like a robot. As customers we need real answers.

    Very good point Talino. No real solution offered by Jaybird/Logitech. 

    I managed to get mine replaced. It was less than a year old. Actually these head[hones have two years warranty btw.

    Try phoning the support line like I did. I managed to speak to an actual person and went through troubleshooting on the phone. that didn't work so they told me to contact my original supplier (Amazon) and give them my ticket number. I did this and Amazon send out a brand new shiny pair the very same day. I got me new ones that evening and am happily up and running with them again.
