Jaybird X3 cable starts to break

    Hi Bruce,

    Thank you for your quick response. 

    It happened during my normal/daily use, nothing intense. This part of the cable naturally bends on my neck, so it seems to be a particularly vulnerable spot on the cable, easy to wear off. It doesn't affect the performance as of now (only the top layer broke, exposing copper wiring underneath), but I'm afraid this may lead to a more serious damage so I'm looking for a solution that can prevent it.

    Maybe I'll try to glue this together, but I'm not sure if this will hold.

    I appreciate you sending the picture. In this way, I can understand your concern better allowing me to (hopefully) be more effective.

    We advise against DIY (do-it-yourself) fixes for your safety as well as to prevent damaging the buds or its wiring further. At the same time, you have the final decision.
