My first pair of Tarah Pro's did this also. Jaybird replaced them with no issue. Now 2 months with this new pair and the rubber that covers that control buttons is peeling/lifting up. I wear these most everyday at work to listen to music/podcast. I work out in them most everyday. I do not wear cologne and have made sure not to spray any bug spray, sunscreen, etc on them. I do use sunscreen (lotion type) when I am out in the sun, but I make sure that I let it dry before putting on my head phones. Yes I sweat when I workout, as I live on the Southern United States. These are marketed for people that want workout. This issue seems to be a design flaw or manufacturing control issue. Hard to believe that they would not make a product that can hold up to sweat and sunscreen when they are made for people that work out.
