    Hello everyone,

Thanks for all the feedback and sorry for the delayed response.

The Jaybird team has been looking into this and the issue is a firmware issue. It will be fixed via an update sent next week. This update will be available from the Jaybird app.

I am experiencing the same issue now. I have tried resetting and there doesn't seem to be any new updates available.

Edit: The 3rd reset fixed it, weird

I'm having the exact same issue. Right bud is super quiet. It just happened today after a month of excellent performance. I have no idea why this is happening but it really sucks. Please hurry to fix this with a firmware update or I'm returning. Was not expecting this from Jaybird. I have performed multiple hard resets but no improvement.

Dear all, what I noticed eventually was that this is happening when I wash my earbuds (one of the buds having a lower volume) .... and after they are dry they are back again to the same level.

    I hope this helps,
    Razvan S.

Found this solution from another completely different pair of earbuds but if you take the silicone tip off and look near the button on the sound port side, you will see a TINY hole, clean this, you can run it under the tap with water, I poked inside with a small non pointy tool also, immediately fixed my issue entirely.

I may be having the same issue but it is due to fit. One bud wont line up properly in the canal and the sound gets dulled as a result. If I push on the bud into a different angle it sounds fine.

Same issue after a few months of using without issue. Any solution to this yet? Reset multiple times no change

Same issue happening, right bud almost not functional for having really low volume. Reset 20x and no fix. I'm not in the position to ask for new buds through bestbuy, please work on the firmware fix as we did expect Jaybird product quality to meet high expectations.

The longest period was 2-3 hours I think, sometimes faster.

Update: about 6 hours after using the buds in the shower, after performing multiple resets, the right bud finally fixed itself. Very odd, this could be an issue with the buds waterproofing, although since they have a ipx7 rating this shouldn't be an issue at all, but Jaybird needs to find out how to resolve this issue we are having with low volume on the buds.

    Hello!

Same issue here. Have done all steps of resetting from soft to hard... Update Jaybird app and still this issue appears. Can you please do something about it.

I also have the same problem with the different volume between the left and the right side and also the volume not being so loud enough
I hope a future update can fix these issues

Have been having the same problem with my buds. It started right after I got them. The right buds sound level is lower than on the left one. Somehow it comes and goes.

Same issue here. Definitely not due to fit and happened a couple of hours into my run - and it was my first use of them as well. I followed all of the reset suggestions (as well as connecting to different devices and taking the silicone casing off to make sure that wasn’t the issue. No luck and like you I find it really annoying. I’m contacting Jaybird support in the morning in hopes they can sort this out - I’ll mention to them that there are others who have noted the same issue.

It’s my first Jaybird purchase...really hoping I don’t regret it!

Razvan, I noticed the same thing as well, before the earbuds became low in volume I took a shower with them, however, I made sure the earbuds were dry before trying them again yet it still has the issue. How long did it take your buds to dry?

I had the same problem, it turned out that the right bud was full of earwax
After removing it with a small nail it went back to normal again

This might help some of you if you've subjected your buds to some water recently:

Shake the buds, if it doesn't work, remove the cover and suck on the sound opening of the buds, this will remove the water in the canal that was blocking the sound.

Have the same problem after getting them into the shower and decided to wash them with the shower head. Came out and the right bud is barely audible. Read through the forum and thought to myself maybe there's some water stuck in the sound canal.

    I was right.

For me, it turned out to be sweat blocking the sound passage-way. Shake your buds, throroughly, until you know for absolute certain that there is nothing blocking the sound from passing through.

Guys do what Danaeris said it hadn't worked for days and kept getting quieter to the point where it was basically silent and i literally just poked about with the end of a staple in the hole where the sound comes from and a small hole on the side of the earbud under the silicon cover. Thanks :)

Usually the volume goes down after I wash them and then I just have to pinch the earbud a bit without removing the casing. This time it lasted days. What finally worked for me was to remove the silicone casing, take a q tip like others mentioned, but gently pushing int the speaker and around from the edges. At first I tried sucking it, but it became worse, so I pushed the speaker with the q tip and it seemed to clear whatever was blocking the sound from coming out.

Had the same problem but with a Jaybird Freedom. I've followed all the protocols of factory reset to no avail. According to the app at my phone, my firmware was 1.40, updated. I've downloaded Jaybird Firmware assistant for Mac and it reverted my firmware to 1.32 and the lower sound on the right year is gone.  I suspect it could be a conflict of firmware. Try this, it worked for me, though on a different model.

Hey Aino, palautin omani Giganttiin josta sain vaihdon toiseen samanhintaiseen takuulla. En saanut sitä millään toimimaan...
