Charger won’t charge but headphones are working ok until the battery dies.

    Hey mate, I've been experiencing the exact same issues & also bought mine in January. The charging cradle idea is useless, they say it was to improve the waterproof rating, but not much point in that if they don't charge. I've already been in contact with jaybird & was told to clean the headphone section with a little soap. I used my toothbrush & some dishwasher liquid & it did the trick. Happened again today however so gave them another clean & still not charging. Definitely wishing I hadn't bought these expensive headphones now, it just because the originals were awesome & lasted so long. Good luck 🤞

    Thanks for the reply. Glad its not just me that thinks this.

    I tired cleaning a few times but it looks to me like the cable is very lose at the cradle end.

    I would begrudgingly buy a new charger if i could, just cant get one anywhere.

    Since i got my TP's ive had X4's and RunXT's, and both had faults that made me send theme back. I was happy the TP's have never had any issues, but now it seems i have gone through the range and come out the other side out of pocket.

    I cant believe the emails im getting from the so called support team.

    No matter what i say and what info i give they are sending me such stupid replies that i wonder if anyone at JB can read or understand the simple issue im having

    So far ive been told to un pair the devices, i can charge them using any micro USB cable (really?), to use a different charger (FFS), to use a different power outlet, how to pair them to a new device,....the list goes on. no matter how many times i tell them its the Charge thats not working they just wont read this and are just a total waste of time.

    I will never, ever buy another JB product and can only advise others to steer clear.

    Just an update. I did eventually get a replacement charger but it made no difference. Seems it’s the earphones themselves. 
    It does look like JB are going to replace them, so I’m quite happy this level of support, but it was a struggle. 
    Its odd that so many are now reporting lack of charging.
