Tarah 𝙋𝙧𝙤 buzzing noise

    Hi Aaron Williams,

    I am sorry to hear that your Jaybird Tarah Pro stopped working and emits a buzzing sound. This is not the quality we're expecting from our product.

    Please follow the reset below to resolve the issue of your headset:

    1. Turn your Tarah Pro earbuds off by holding the middle button until the LED illuminates red and turns off.
    2. When your earbuds are powered off, press & hold the middle button for 5 seconds until the LED starts blinking white.
    3. While the LED is blinking white, quickly double press the middle button. The LED will illuminate red briefly, and then the LED will start blinking white again.
    4. Your earbuds are now reset and ready to pair. Go to your audio device’s Bluetooth menu and select ‘Jaybird Tarah Pro’ to re-pair.
    5. Remember to reselect your favorite preset from the Jaybird App.

    I got the exact same problem. It occurred during playing music today. It's not possible to turn off the buds, nothing happens when holding the middle button (or any other buttons). What to do?

    Just hold it for like 8-10 seconds and it should turn off.

    I have the exact same issue since today. No matter how long the power button is pressed, it will not turn off. None of the above mentioned advice works. My headphones are only 1-2 months old.

    I just had the exact same issue. I have bought the tarah pros exactly one month from today and I've had issues leading up to this one. Ive noticed I allow it to charge sufficiently but throughout the day (I’m a college student, I have classes and move around a lot) that the said battery charge declined significantly as the day goes on. The only time I ever had a full 14 hours was the first time I turned them on. Just yesterday I was listening to music and they just stopped working. None of the buttons worked, the light, connecting them to my phone or laptop, etc. The only way I made them respond was cheating them again, even if I had charged them three hours prior. I would like to have an exchange, or a complete refund. I would have spoken to customer support, but it after hours.

    I have the same issue.... Mid Song it starts buzzing... It has happend 3 times this week. I have to hold down the power button for a long time to get them to turn off. Then i have to turn off the device i have playing music as it will never reconnect.

    I am using a Garmin 245 Music, the watch is still playing music and functions as expected. These are about two months old and for the price i paid i am not very happy at all. I would expect this fixed, and the responses from Jaybird are not acceptable.

    Just a few minutes ago I also experienced this buzzing problem. The earphones would not shut off until I placed them on the charger. Within seconds of putting them on the charger the lights began blinking and I was then able to turn them off like normal. Am getting ready to do a reset then cross my fingers that these things start behaving normally. Also have a much shorter battery life than claimed much like many others. My average battery life is 4-5 hours and they rarely show more than a 90% charge regardless of how long they have been charging. Hope this helps anyone else experiencing the buzzing lockup.

    Just today it happen to me as well and I cant turn it off. I don't think it is fair for us user considering the price of this headset...Is it a software malfunction or it is in the unit? Please somebody should address this kind of problem.

    I'm experiencing the same problem as well. My earphones are only 1-2 months old so I'm very disappointed with this malfunction. I'm a college student who uses these headphones every day and have been very careful to take good care of them. I noticed that after the first full charge, my battery life has been decreasing as well and now I get only about 5 hours after a full charge. The above advice did not fix my problem.

    The same thing just happened to me right now. I am unable to turn them off and I don't have the charger at the moment. This is the second pair of jaybirds that I've purchased that have malfunctioned and this pair is barely 4 months old.

    Same thing is happening to me. These are brand new replacements since my last pair turned off 3 months after using them and didn't turn back on. I got an exchange by working with customer support, but the process was lengthy and required a lot of work on my part. They also ended up sending me the wrong version and asked me to ship them back. I have neither the trust nor the energy to do it all over again. I guess I'm just going to donate $160. Will actively dissuade friends and family from trusting this brand.

    Just two week ago I had to return my tarah pro because it is not charging anymore. I hope they replace it if they cant fixed it.

    I have the exact same thing. It's already my third pair of Tarah Pro's. I really need to get this solved for good now or I want my money back.

    Mine would not turn off but once I got home from my run I snapped them into the charger then if would respond to turning on/off and pairing

    Whoever runs tech support, you're absolutely fucking pathetic. 

    tHiS iS nOt a qUaLiTy - shut the fuck up. Seriously. There have been multiple fucking inquiries into this shit and all you do is spew the same bullshit about hitting the reset every bloody time. I've been using these for about a month and while the sound quality is amazing, I've encountered the same problem, and neither resetting it nor charging it has made any difference in addressing this. Stop saying you "don't expect" this issue because you're too good to have any sort of technical difficulties. 

    You've provided ZERO potential reasons for why any cutting-out occurs, let alone helpful advice on how to solve anything. 

    To whoever has this problem: Jaybird tech support is good for wasting your time and that's it. I'm sorry you wasted your hard-earned money on this garbage.

    Please chill out man. They replaced my product and it all ran really smoothly. They were very helpful. So please, watch your language and stop spreading negativity into the world.
