    Hi Rodney,

Thanks for joining our support community and reaching out.

We totally get wanting to use your buds when you want to use them! In an effort to preserve battery life during times of inactivity, we do have a maximum idle time of 15 minutes for our Tarah Pro buds.

As for the cord, you can remove the speed cinch to maximize the length.

I looked through the app. It doesn't seem to offer anymore features than it did with my original freedoms unless I'm over looking something. I was hoping for some kind of control other than an eq. Hopefully, I'm overlooking it. This don't only shut off, they must try to disconnect even when they are on. They repeatedly say connected while I have one in my ear and I'm surfing the web or something on my phone. Can I make these stay on and connected like my X4s? If not, I'll just return them. Thanks

There seem to be issues with them being on and disconnecting even when they show connected. I'll play something and it'll play on the ear buds, I'll pause it for 30 sec and click play and it plays out loud. They lock up or something. Then I'll have to press and hold and tap the button several times to shut them off eventually and back on again. For $160 you'd think with no user control or features of other high end earbuds now days they'd at least stay connected an on. Very disappointing. I'll just return them. I've had jaybird for 10 years. This is the most frustrating pair I've ever owned. I can never tell when they are even on. With no features like other brands I guess it's time to move on.
