Run XT's. I'm getting a white noise/hissing sound in both earbuds when audio is playing. Especially noticeable during quieter moments in music or videos. Firmware is 1.1.5.

    Hello AK_TTD,

I am sorry to hear that you're getting white noise on your Jaybird Run XT.

Please observe the buds if you experience this for a longer duration or if it's more audible.

I'm not sure what this reply means. As previously stated, I have observed the buds across multiple operating systems and devices. The noise is constant. Never goes away, never goes up or down in volume. Even watching a video with no sound will result in constant hiss for as long as the video plays. As soon as the video/audio is stopped, the hiss stops. It is constant as long as the device is playing audio or video. Is there a normal level of hiss that exists in all of these? By contrast, I tried a pair of Jabra 65t's and there is zero hiss.

I am experiencing the same problem. I can hear a hissing noise in the background whenever I play music or watch videos. The only way I’ve been able to counteract this is to play music with a lot of bass or turn up the volume. Is this a Jaybird thing? Is this a manufacturing defect?

I returned mine and went with the Jabra 65t Active. No hiss whatsoever, phone calls in both ears, hear through, and much more stable connection. Also, I wasn't happy with Jaybird's community support. From what I can tell, every post gets one generic, meaningless response like "observe the buds," and no follow up replies after that.

so i found out the Hiss... its not white noise. its sourrounding audio so you can hear what is around you. the Mic is fed into the headphone. i noticed while it was raining in my car heavily i could hear all the rain drops in my ears from the microphone.

Do you know how to disable that feature?
