I purchased a pair of Jaybird run earbuds back in May 2018 and in November 2018 I was sent a warranty replacement set of earbuds and I was experiencing random power off episodes. I regret to inform you that 8 months after my first replacement I am now having charging issues with the left earbud only.
When I first noticed the left earbud wasn’t charging I noticed that the led wasn’t flashing on the charging pod. I removed the rubber fitting wing and it started flashing but the earbud would only charge to 80% power whilst the right bud charged fully. I’ve tried changing the power cable and also preforming both soft and hard resets as previous mentioned but with no success.
I then tried a maintenance charge by running both earbuds down completely and managed to charge both to 100% but after a 3 day period of non use the right earbud remained at 100% but the left discharged itself to 40% despite no usage. It continues to drain rapidly whist being used and is becoming useless.
Please advise on my best course of action and weather this set is still covered by the warranty as I’ve only had them for 8 months.
