30 mins after getting XT’s the right bud shuts down every few mins.

  • Bruce B.

    Hello Dave6992,

I am sorry to hear that your Jaybird Run XT right bud shuts off and do not charge properly. This is not the quality we're expecting from our product.

Kindly try using a different power source/charger and/or a different USB cable. A pulsing green LED on each side means it is charging, solid green light when fully charged. It is recommended to use 5V/500mA-1A charger for 2 hours only.

It would also help to ensure that the lid of the charging case is securely closed and the charger ports and prongs align accordingly and are free from debris.

Feel free to reach back to us by replying to this post or contacting our other support channels at https://www.jaybirdsport.com/en-us/support.html

    Warm Regards,

    Jaybird Customer Experience

Eh? Did you read my post? If the earpiece is saying its 100% charged how do any of your suggestions help in any way?

When did i say it wasn’t charging properly? I didnt.

Just posting generic replies like the above seems to be all the support staff do on here. Same replies over and over again and hardly ever specific to the issue someone is having.

What a waste of time coming here.

It seems like I'm having the same issues as you.

Right ear bud shuts down by itself after barely an hour of usage (100% not a battery charge issue)

The temporary fix is to put the ear buds in the case and taking them out. This helps only for another 30 mins, after which the ear buds shuts down autnaocally again.

I just sent mine back after my first post. I knew Jaybird will be less than useless on here, you can see the amount of automated generic responses to almost every issue, and in no way was i using a workaround at that price.

Plenty of better, more reliable companies to give my money to. I love my Tarah pro’s, but thats as far as ill go with Jaybirds.
