    Hi aegrant71,

I am sorry to hear that your Jaybird Tarah Pro's sound isn't balanced. This is not the quality we're expecting from our product.

Please follow the steps to resolve the issue with your buds:

    1. If applicable, “FORGET” or “REMOVE” your Tarah Pro earbuds in your Bluetooth list of discovered devices.

    2. Turn your Tarah Pro earbuds off by holding the middle button until the LED illuminates red and turns off.

    3. When your earbuds are powered off, press & hold the middle button for 5 seconds until the LED starts blinking white.

    4. While the LED is blinking white, quickly double press the middle button. The LED will illuminate red briefly, and then the LED will start blinking white again.

    5. Your earbuds are now reset and ready to pair. Go to your audio device’s Bluetooth menu and select ‘Jaybird Tarah Pro’ to pair again.

When you reset your earbuds, you will lose any saved presets and any saved devices on the paired list.

Feel free to reach back to us by replying to this post or contacting our other support channels at https://www.jaybirdsport.com/en-us/support.html

    Warm Regards,

I'm having the same issue except the right side is clearer and louder.

Switched bud gels? to listen to the right bud in left ear and vice versa just to make sure the issue isn't my ears: nope - the left bud is still the issue.

    ?

    Factory reset does nothing.

I have the same issues.... I can use the iphone accessibility "balance" function to even up the output, but that's pretty annoying...

Did you work out how to fix this issue?

I have the same issue. The right side had a better sound. I also though that my ear is the issue at first lol but seems like many tarah pro users are having the same problem. I just did the reset and i guess its working normally now. Not really sure to be honest. I feel that its sound wuality is better in the left bud.

I have the same issue as the first post here. Left side sounds always louder and clearer. When adjusting the right side one a few times, then it sounds like better balanced. But, do I have to do this every single time I use this?

This is so annoying, i’m still having this issue, the right bud has a much better sound. ☹️ Jaybird should do something and at least send a new pair to those who are complaining. Its not fair. You pay money for a new pair and they are not working properly. I Had jaybirds X3 before and suddenly one of the buds stopped working just after a year or so. Maybe the solution is just to switch to a different brand next time🤷🏻‍♂️

I am experiencing this issue as well.  Glad I am not going crazy.

Extremely frustrating and disappointing that this happening with a pair of $150 headphones.  No workable solution.  Only reasonable explanation I have is left earbud is defective.  Waste of money.

I too am having the same problem with the Tarah Pro. The left side is DOA save the faintest of sound.  When this problem first occurred I thought my hearing was going bad in my left ear; then I was expecting to see a balance setting in the Jaybird app. There is none.  The setting in the iOS "SETTINGS" is really not an option.   First changing it skews my other devices and second all I get is the faintest sound on left and diminished volume on right. What is too be done?   I still have a X3 set that is older and works flawlessly. I purchased the Tarahs for battery life, ruggedness and fit.    Can I have these replaced?  Thanks.

I have the same problem with the right being louder and clearer than the left one. This is getting on my nerve. I bought these headphones last year start. Are you guys seriously telling me that this product of yours lasts for only a year????? And for the price tag of $200++???? I'm a student and money doesn't come by easy. You guys are the first brand I trusted and went for. This is just utterly disappointing. Before you do ask me to reset, I have done EVERYTHING and I MEAN it. Every soft, hard, factory reset I have done it. Paid $200++ for a pair that has shit sound on the left after a time frame of just a year? I'm speechless. Sorry for my language I just let it all out. Oh and btw the left side goes silent sometimes as well : ) Is this the way yall remind us to purchase a new product of yours. If yes, nice going : )
