My Tarah Pro microphone is too sensitive

    Hello Monk79,

Thank you for joining the community and for posting your query. I can definitely help you with this one.

If you’re getting complaints from the party on the other side of a call with your Tarah Pro earbuds, try the following as applicable:

-Use the included Tarah Pro shirt clip to keep the microphone or inline remote from swaying or rubbing on your clothing.

-If you’re doing something active, try pausing the activity for the duration of the call.

-If you are in the noisy area, try moving to somewhere quieter.

-Try bringing the microphone close to your mouth.

    Warm Regards,

Am having issues with the microphone on the Tarah pro too. The sound is super low and the quality sounds as if i am under water. They have not been exposed to sweat, water or any kind of hard wearing since i got them. Tried sitting still, in a quiet room with mic close to my mouth and still no luck... Any luck your side since posting Monk79?

My Jaybird Tarah Pro microphone is extremely sensitive. My friends on a call usually complaint about any noise I make (like opening a door, or moving a polythene bag) to be disturbingly loud for them. I usually have to end up muting myself when I am not speaking during the call, which is super annoying.
This is despite me taking care to not jostle the microphone or let it rub against my clothes. The earphones are brand new, and I've been having this complaint from 1st week after purchase, with no sign of any physical damage.

If Jaybird could provide an option to reduce the gain of the microphone in the settings on the Jaybird app, it will be super useful for me.
