    Hi MarkyDark,

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a connectivity issue with your Jaybird X4. This is not the quality we're expecting from our product.

Here is a list of steps for the Factory Reset:

1.Make sure your buds are powered off.

2.From an off state, press and hold the power button for 8 seconds until the LEDs flash red and green.

3.Double press the power button. The LED will flash rapidly and you should hear a double tone. Your buds have now been reset.

You can further isolate the issue by testing using a different device or a device with a different OS.

Sorry, Bruce - but if anything this reset ended up making things worse. The earbuds seemed to be skipping as though I am running with a portable CD player in 1993. The playback is somewhat better when I start running, getting worse with mileage. Also better sitting still. Poor, I’d say, considering they’re sports headphones. I’m using an iPhone 6, if that matters, and it is also paired with my Apple Watch - again, if that matters. I have read some info from the x3’s that maybe interference in cities is a problem, etc, and I’m wondering if maybe the x4’s just aren’t the earphones for me since these are specifically for running in cities (I’m no audiophile, but skipping music has always been a pet peeve).

Is it possible that I just got a bum pair? I’d hate to think this is a common problem with these $130 sport headphones.

Sorry - but I never did. Actually ended up taking them back to the store and sticking with my wired headphones for a race. I’m wondering if maybe they’d do better with a newer iPhone, but for now I’ll just stick with what I’ve got...

ok before we say its not the headphones..

my bluetooth in my phone will connect to the Jabra bluetooth in my car if im 30 meters away.

If i go out on my motorbike it connects to my SHO1 bluetooth helmet, if i go to fill up with petrol i can leave the phone in top box on the bike, and walk into the shop and pay whilst streaming music from mt phone, 20-25 meters away.

When i connect to the jaybird x 4 i can't even listen to them without CONSTANT dropouts, when i have the phone in my jeans back pocket walking the dog!!

done the resets, etc. these headphones are an utter joke.

These will be comming back to you, allong with most all the others you sold i guess.

Do you pay the reviewers NOT to mention this?
