Does anyone else have issues with the left earbud dropping connection constantly when outside? I'm now on my second pair, thinking it was just a defect with the first ones, but these are doing the same thing.

    Actually have already tried re-pairing the left and right buds using the following instructions: https://www.jaybirdsport.com/en-ca/run-faq.html#leftbud

     

    After which I unpaired and re-paired on the phone.

     

    I also (in developer options on Android 8.0) set the Bluetooth AVRCP version to 1.4 (this helped a bit as it was at 1.6 previously). Still anytime I am outside (in town or in suburbs with nothing around) the left earbud drops at least 1 per song, usually 3 or 4 times. When sitting indoors at my desk at work or at home, the left bud only occasionally drops (once every few songs).

     

    The right earbud remains connected and playing all the time though in all locations. So it's connection to the phone seems to be fine. The issue seems to be with how the left and right are connecting to each other.

    I have the same problem. Inside they stay connected pretty well but outside they are kind of useless. Dropping connection multiple times per minute.

    I have reseted according to instructions. Checked the firmware version and it is 1.1.0. What more can I do? Bought them in Hong Kong when I was on business trip so it is a little bit difficult to return.... It is hard to accept that the product is so lousy to that price...

    Similar irritating issue! Tried all the troubleshoot solutions & still the same annoying dropouts from left earbuds! Very disappointed with jaybird this time & may be the final time I'm purchasing their products. Been using freedom & X3 before.

    Same issue with left earbud. Soft/Hard reset didn't help. It has latest firmware. Connected to latest iPhone.

     

    Is there any solution available besides link to FAQ page?

    It's crap! My friend's S$60 earbuds from China never had sound dropouts.at all! The sound may not be as good but still acceptable.. Wonder why we bothered paying so much more (S$278)for something so lousy . Never again! Worst of all it ain't refundable in Singapore.

    I am having the same issue. I had then for a few months with no issues then all the sudden the left earbud drops all the time, sometimes never reconnecting. I went back to Best Buy and exchanged them since I had the warranty thinking something went out, and now having the same issue with the new pair. I have tried reconnecting them every way recommended through Jay Bird. I don't know what else to do except maybe try another brand. Good thing I bought the protection plan through Best Buy! Not cool Jay Bird

    I'm having exactly the same issue with my left earbud. It's very annoying. I can't listen to one full song without this issue happening. I'm very disappointed at Jaybird as it was my first experience!
