    Hi Jluu,

     

    Thank you for posting here in the community. I am sorry to hear that you're having issue with Jaybird RUN updater.

     

    To better isolate the issue. Please answer the following questions.

     

    -Have you tried to uninstall/reinstall the Firmware updater?

    -Is the buds were fully charged before attempting update?

    -Did the assistant indicate that the update had actually started?

    -At any point did they power the buds off or interrupt the update?

    -Make sure that you're using a Data Micro USB cable when updating the firmware.

    Hi

     

    thanks for your response. followed your checks and it turns out the problem was i wasnt using the correct cable supplied with the earphones, instead i was using a similar one with the same fitting head/port but for a different device (my vape).

     

    it detects and updates all good now
