    Hi yaugary,

Thank you for posting here in support community. I'm glad to know that you purchased one of our new product and for being a Jaybird fan. I am sorry to hear that there are Noise issue with the Jaybird RUN after updating the firmware to 1.1. I'll be glad to help you out with your concern.

Please try to perform a factory reset that can help to resolve the issue.

To soft reset your right earbud:

-Place your right earbud into the charge case and close the lid.

-Open the charge case and remove your earbud.

To hard reset your right earbud:

-Turn off your right earbud by pressing the right multifunction button for 3 seconds.

-With your right earbud off, press and hold the right multifunction button for 6 seconds until the LED flashes green.

-Double press the right multifunction button. The LED will flash orange and the earbud will turn off. Your earbud has now been reset.

I experienced the same situation too. Did all that needs to be done mentioned above but noise still present. Even tried to fix with equaliser. But seems the faint crackling noise is heard at certain high freq or volume. Is there option to downgrade firmware to verify if it’s firmware issue?

My jaybird run also experienced the same issue, since the firmware update yesterday. Increasing the volume by medium, increases the noise at higher sound. I live in korea so it is not easy to get information about jaybird RUN. I expecting new firmware very soon.

I’ve had the same problem with the Jaybird run after the firmware update. I have a pair of LG earbuds that are use with my iPhone 7 Plus and my MacBook Pro and they work totally fine. But when I hook up the jaybird run to my iPhone 7 Plus and my MacBook Pro there is an awful crackle. I wonder if the firmware was supposed to be written for both android and iOS but was not written properly for iOS. Just a thought. I really want this to work but I can’t deal with the crackle

This issue is already more than a month old. How much longer should we wait for this to be fixed?

Same problem here. Static noise in the right earbud after updating to v1.1.

Is there a way to install v1.0.4 again?
