Freedom 2 mic not working when recieving calls
This is my second set of jaybirds I've had (freedom and now the freedom 2) and have up till now always loved them. I have had the freedom 2 ear buds for approx. 6 months and the headsets mic suddenly stopped working to accept calls. All media seems to work great however when I answer a call no one can hear me. If I blow or rub my fingers across the mic I can hear the static through my earbuds but my caller is unable go hear me. I have done the factory reset , deleted jaybird from my bluetooth and tried to re pair with no luck. Some help with this would be much appreciated. Thanks

I have read your email and this really cannot be a reasonable response or remedy suggestion. Let put this in simpler terms. THEY DO NOT WORK. Anyone I speak with absolutely cannot hear me regardless of where it is clipped to my shirt, where I'm at, what the background noise is or even if I'm screaming into the mic. The mic purely does not work during phone calls. I can hear the caller but the caller cannot hear me. I would like a reasonable suggestion as to how to remedy this problem considering they are only 6 months old.? I look forward to speaking with you about a real and reasonable solution to this problem, thank you.

Hey I’m having the same problem. The mic is not working on calls. They do work for recording messages, but on calls, whether receiving a call or calling somebody, nobody can hear me. I can hear the other person but the mic seems to be inactive. My freedom2 headphones are brand new so this is pretty disappointing. I’m using an iPhone X. Is replacing the headphones the only solution?
