My freedoms are connected to my iPhone 6 but the my sound app says it's nit connecting. Advice??

    Hi Angus1,

     

    I'm sad to hear that your Jaybird Freedom is no recognized by the MySound App. I'll be glad to help you with the concern.

     

    I would like to first the exact model of your headset. The way you charge the headset, do you need to use a charging clip/cradle? If yes, then you have the latest model of the Jaybird Freedom (F5) which is supported in MySound App. Otherwise, if not, you have an older model which is the Freedom 3 or Freedom Sprint and both models are not compatible with the app.

     

    If you have the Jaybird Freedom (F5) and the latest version of MySound App installed, please try the steps below.

     

    1). Forget ‘Jaybird Freedom’ in the phone’s Bluetooth Settings.

    2). Pair again through Bluetooth Settings (if this does not work, go to step 3) 

    3). Ensure Freedom are fully charged and try again (if this does not work, go to step 4)

    4). Factory reset Freedom and try againFor reset follow these steps:  

          1. Turn headphones off.

          2. Put headphones into Pairing mode by holding the middle button for 6-8 seconds       until it says "Searching for your Music Device" and the headphones to flash red           and green.

          3. Once in Pairing Mode, push the middle button twice and wait for the lights to             flash red and turn off. 

          4. Delete or "Forget" the headset profile from the Bluetooth list of the mobile                 device. 

          5. Put headphones back into pairing mode and connect them to your device. 

          6. Test the headset afterwards.

    Please be aware that there have been some recent updates to the MySound app which should help with connectivity issues. Please make sure to update your app to the latest version and you should have a better time with getting connected to MySound!

     

    Please let me know if this does not resolve the issue.
