    Hello jessiejane,

I am sorry to hear that your Jaybird Run right bud won't charge properly. This is not the quality we're expecting from our product.

Kindly try using a different power source/charger and/or a different USB cable. A pulsing green LED on each side means it is charging, solid green light when fully charged. It is recommended to use 5V/500mA-1A charger for 2 hours only.

It would also help to ensure that the lid of the charging case is securely closed and the charger ports and prongs align accordingly and are free from debris.

Feel free to reach back to us by replying to this post or contacting our other support channels at https://www.jaybirdsport.com/en-us/support.html

    Warm Regards,

I am having the same issue. Right earbud will not charge. This is unacceptable and I will not accept your canned response about using a different cable, etc. The charging is done in the case, if the cable was the issue why does the case and the left earbud charge? I have ensured the case is closed, It’s plastic and there is only so much you can do. I have cleaned the contacts and the case is made to hold the ear pieces so how else can i ensure the ear piece is making contact with the charging contacts? The answer is I cannot. I expect some actual debugging solutions, please. Soon my right ear bud will be completely drained and i will not be able to use my ear phones and will be extremely unhappy.

    thanks

I am having the same issue. Case shows solid green, ear buds show full charged and when I take right out of case it messages that it is full charged after a few minutes the battery is dead and now will not charge at all

experiencing the same issue, when I shut my case only the left side blinks, so the right side won’t charge at all. I think part of the issue is I switched to the larger rubber piece that plugs into your ear and the case doesn’t really accommodate that very well. Can someone from jaybird respond? Should I return these?

I am facing the same issue - Couple of things like cleaning the charging points, removing the ear tips, blowing hard into the charging case gap where the lid locks help me to get it charged.

More details here in case it helps anyone https://www.rahulpnath.com/blog/jaybird_run_right_earbud_not_charging/

I'm having the same issue. Only the right earbud won't charge. I tried the solution above but it's not working. Is there a more permanent solution to this? Is this the earbud's issue or the charging case issue?

    Thanks.

I had this issue after 1 week.  The right bud would not charge.  After close inspection I notice one of the two metal probes in the charging case was bent slightly.  I straightened the probe with tweezers and now the earbud is charging correctly.
