Any Way to Lessen/Stop The Background Noise of Footsteps/Movement when Earbuds are In?

After playing with my earbuds some more I decided to go to the next size down silicon in-ear piece. This doesn't create such a tight seal like the size up which eliminates the occlusion effect (booming sound every footstep/heartbeat) since there is an open path for the inner ear to vent (no pressure buildup), but it does compromise the base of the earbuds. For anyone reading, I'd recommend this action if you want to be active with these earbuds. It's better to have weak base and avoid the headache from hearing every footstep ringing in your head.
