My right earbuds on my Jaybird Run XT is very quiet. I purchased them yesterday and initially the sound on the right bud is loud but about 30 seconds later it quiets down.

    Hello Autumnnicole,

I am sorry to hear that your Jaybird Run XT's right bud is quieter. This is not the quality we're expecting from our product.

Please check the fit, the bud should sit comfortably in your ear on both sides, you can mix and match the ear tips as well to fine tune your fit.

You can also your XT buds by following these instructions:

To soft reset your right earbud:

-Place your right earbud into the charge case and close the lid.

-Open the charge case and remove your earbud.

To hard reset your right earbud:

-Turn off your right earbud by pressing the right multifunction button for 3 seconds.

-With your right earbud off, press and hold the right multifunction button for 6 seconds until the LED flashes green.

-Double press the right multifunction button. The LED will flash orange and the earbud will turn off. Your earbud has now been reset.

-When you hard reset your earbuds, you will lose any saved presets and any saved devices on the paired list. You’ll need to forget Jaybird RUN in your phone's Bluetooth device list, repair your earbuds to your Bluetooth device, See How do I pair my Jaybird RUN earbuds? and reselect your favorite preset from the Jaybird app.

One way I found to solve this problem is as follows:

    1. Go to your Run XT app on your phone
    2. On the bottom bar press headphones
    3. Then press button controls
    4. Swap the option from default controls to alternate controls
    5. Then you can raise your volume up by single pressing your right earbud

I hope this helps solving your problem.
