I just got the Jaybird X3s today. They're fully-charged.
I connected them to my phone (Nexus 6P) and they work great. No issues with quality or lagging or sounds off and on.
I then connected them to my ASUS UX31A laptop and no matter what i do, there is a constant and repetitive drop-off of sound. Whether it is Spotify, Youtube, Facebook, I'll hear audio for second, then it drops off, another second of sound, drops off, etc. I tried letting it happening thinking it takes time to sync but it kept happening for 5 minutes until i gave up.
I also downloaded the most up-to-date Bluetooth Driver and it still did not work. Could it relate to wifi connectivity? Something with my specific laptop?
Any ideas at all to resolve would be great. Although i usually use headphones with phone, it should also work when I'm on my laptop too.
Also, I have Windows 10, if that makes any difference.
