PLEASE HELP!! My jaybird x3 is not in sync/lags audio

    @Victor Baek I am sorry to hear that. Please try this hard reset to see if that helps. 

     

    To reset your X3 buds to their original factory settings, put your buds in pairing mode by turning the buds off then push and hold the center button for more than 4 seconds until you see alternating red/green LED. 

    While the LEDs are flashing red/green double tap the center button. Upon successful party reset, the LED turns orange and your buds turn off. 

     

    NOTE: Once your buds have been reset and you power on they will automatically go into paring mode. Select “Forget” or “Remove”  X3 from your device’s bluetooth menu and pair again.

    I did that and the orange led never flashes while it does turn off. The audio is still lagging behind the actually apps video and typing. And starting today morning I had an issue with the jaybird displaying the wrong battery multiple times. They often either said the power was too low or fully charged when it should've have been around 80%.

    I've had the same issue and it's really annoying. Reset the X3s twice and same issue. I ever took it as far as getting a replacement pair and the exact same issue. At times it does sound better but well over half the time there is a lag. I'm a loyal Jaybird customer, have the Bluebuds X, 2 x X2s and now the X3s. The X3s are the only ones I've experienced this issue with. Please provide a solution ASAP.

    I've tried on multiple iPhones and iPads, same issue. It's a clear issue with the product and a disappointment to the customer. I'm currently using the X2s because the problem doesn't exist with them. Please provide a solution, the issue isn't with the device it's paired with.

    I'm having the same issue with my X3s. I've completed the hard reset and the same lag still happens. It's most prominent with typing and streaming video. Please let me know if a solution has been found.

    I'm having the same issues. Again I've gone to the extent of getting replacement headphones sent, exact same problem. If you watch a you tube audio sync test you can sometimes see it go a full 2 seconds out of sync. For a brief moment I had no lag at all. It varies. Thinking of asking for a full refund and getting cheaper more functional headphones. Very disappointed with this product at this pricepoint. I've tried them with: iPhone6 iPhone7 iPad All the same issues. Tried with a friends HTC and the problem wasn't so bad, but I didn't really test for long so it could just have been temporary.

    I need an answer on this too .. I am experiencing noticeable audio lag when watching movies. These lags are not present with my X2s or my Monster iSports. is there anyone from JayBird that can help with this? Please?

    Same problem with my jaybird freedom.

    Especially when I'm using Youtube app on my iphone, it is noticeable.

     

    • iphone 6s (iOS 11.0.3)
    • jaybird freedom firmware (1.2.2)

     

     I've already done the factory reset several times, but there is no effect.

    I have the same problem! I contact jaybird-support 3rd time, they just answer "I am sorry for replying in English. Unfortunately, we don't provide email support in the language you used to contact us. We currently only offer English support."

     

    Can anyone here react? I buy a headset for $ 150 and get no support?

    Yep just got a pair of X3's and the lag is highly annoying. The typing clicks lag, audio not sync'd with videos. Happend on iphone and ipad.

    Aside from that when using with phone the connection is horrible virtually unusable; I have to resort to the iphone itself to listen.

    Jaybird - any fix? Why is it taking so long too?

    Are there any timelines on a fix for this? There was an update to the Jaybird iOS app 1.11.1 but the issue is still occurring.

     

    Seems like the earphones are built by runners for runners but when a major flaw is noticed on multiple threads and tweets you run away.

    Bose users had the same issues with Sound Sport Wireless earphones...Bose were able to provide timely updates and a fix, why cant Jaybird do this? Its highly embarrassing and dam right rubbish.?
